- ➤ Yuma’s K-9 OPS Foundation collected over 100 hams for local heroes, including firefighters + police + veterans + marines, in a drive that honors community service. Donations are still accepted to support these everyday heroes. KYMA
- ➤ The Freedom Library will host a takeover night at Lutes Casino on Thursday, Dec. 11 to raise funds for education and scholarships. Attendees must mention the Freedom Library when purchasing at 221 S. Main Street in downtown Yuma. KYMA
- ➤ The Salvation Army Angel Tree program will help over 300 local families get holiday food boxes and gifts for children up to 12 as tagged at Walmart and Sam’s Club. Locals must return tags by Friday, Dec. 12 at red bins or fire stations to support each child’s wishlist. KYMA
- ➤ Jessie's Closet is hosting a clothing and gift drive to help foster children, asking locals to donate toys, clothes, and socks until December 10th. The non-profit, founded in 2013, welcomes continued support throughout the year (with thanks to the Yuma Rotary Club). KYMA
