- ➤ Yuma Nightmares has turned its haunted house into a Christmas-themed venue that mixes spooky fun with holiday décor for families. The event runs through Dec. 20 with drive-through and walking options on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6:15 to 9:30 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 7 to 10 p.m. KYMA
- ➤ Yuma First Methodist Church is celebrating the season with its Journey to Bethlehem exhibit featuring over 400 nativity scenes, (donated displays and community loans) along with nativity sets and Christmas-themed jewelry. The church welcomes visitors to enjoy the festive display today from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. KYMA

- ➤ Yesterday, Quick Refrigeration donated funds to the Arizona Western College Foundation to create the Ricardo (Ric) Daniel Memorial HVAC Scholarship in honor of its longtime general manager who battled pancreatic cancer, with the check presented at 7:00 p.m. during its 70th Christmas celebration. - ➤ Seven middle schools held the bi-annual 'Drive in the Desert' RC car race today, with over 120 students competing for gift cards and goody bags (sponsored by Chapman Chevrolet) as the Arizona Business and Education Coalition supplied the RC cars. Schools will race again at the end of the year. KYMA
