Arizona Western College Continuing Education in Yuma has announced a Microsoft Office Specialist program that starts December 8 and runs until April 7 — the course offers 180 hours of instruction and exams in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint — tuition assistance is available to those who qualify.

Yuma County’s bus system YCAT is losing federal funds because local cash covers only about 7% of the required match, forcing the system to return three to five million dollars yearly.
