- ➤ Avenir Financial donated 125,000 meals to the Yuma Community Food Bank three days before Thanksgiving to help residents affected by the government shutdown and halted SNAP benefits. The food bank will use the meals to support locals in need — it also urges others to donate what they can. KYMA
- ➤ Arizona Western College Choirs invite the community to a holiday concert on December 5 at Trinity United Methodist Church at 7 p.m.—the event will feature secular and sacred music with audience singing along and guest performances from Dr. Charles Smalley, Grace Marceau, and Kofa High School’s choir under Megan O’Brien.
