- ➤ Arizona Western College President Dr. Daniel Corr was honored by Governor Hobbs yesterday for his decade of leadership that expanded educational opportunities in Yuma and La Paz—an accolade noting strong enrollment and transfer growth. - ➤ Steady rain moved through Yuma today—flooding roads and parking lots while sparking complaints that speeding drivers push water toward homes. Neighbors urge motorists to slow down and obey road-closure signs to help keep floodwater away from their properties. KYMA

- ➤ The Arizona Pharmacy Association donated 300 free Narcan kits—helping make life-saving medication more affordable—to the Regional Center for Border Health Pharmacy, and kits can be picked up at the St. Francis Pharmacy—located in the San Luis walk-in clinic on Main Street in Somerton—to lower opioid overdose deaths in the area.
