  • Onvida Health has unveiled Yuma's first augmented reality mural along the canal path between 16th and 24th street today—letting residents use their phones to scan a code and view interactive demos. The mural is part of Phase 2 of the East Main Canal Beautification Project in collaboration with the city, the Clean and Beautiful Commission, and NextGen—which follows the planting of 100 trees along the canal.  KYMA
  • The annual Share Your Holiday Turkey Drive was held Friday at Walmart locations in Yuma and the foothills—donations of turkeys, non-perishable items and cash were collected for the Crossroads Mission's Three-Days of Thanksgiving event. Local residents helped support those in need this holiday season.  KYMA

  • Day two of the Desert Difference AG Tech Conference in Yuma ended with growers and small tech companies showing new tools to help make the city a testing ground for farming. Leaders such as Tensorfield AG CEO Xiong Chang and Motive Companies CTO Raul Heredia said the sessions gave clear ideas for solving growers' challenges—boosting future farming growth.  KYMA

  • Yuma hosts the annual Colorado River Crossing Balloon Festival that began November 14 with sunrise launches from West Wetlands Park and a planned balloon glow event at Desert Sun Baseball Stadium today—tethered rides will be available on a first-come, first-served basis if weather permits.  KYMA
