- ➤ The Yuma Community Food Bank is helping more locals during the ongoing government shutdown as increased demand strains its dwindling food supplies. The bank warned that if federal funding stops, its ability to buy food will be limited—residents in need can come with an ID for assistance. KYMA

- ➤ Yuma County Water Users’ Association warned residents that it is illegal to dump trash in canals, drainage ditches and fields as waste can harm water, crops and irrigation infrastructure—offenders will be reported to county officials and may face prosecution. KYMA
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Onivda Health is hosting the 13th Annual Bridget’s Gift Western Dance and Barbecue today on the Cocopah Casino Event Lawn to raise funds that help pay for housing, food, and other bills for those battling breast cancer—local musicians including headliner Chris Young will perform.
