- ➤ San Luis has unveiled new inclusive playground equipment at Joe Orduño Park, featuring a special swing, a carousel, and a bilingual communication board funded by a partnership with the Cocopah Tribe and Campesinos Sin Fronteras. - ➤ Arizona Western College will host a Catrinas and Catrines contest on October 30 in the 3C Breezeway on its Yuma campus to honor Día de los Muertos — the free event partners with the Consulate of Mexico and the Yuma County Arts and Cultural Group. Contest participants must register in advance and check in at 2:30 p.m. in the Francis Morris Conference Room to compete for prizes of $400 for first place, $300 for second, $200 for third, and $100 for People’s Choice.
