- ➤ Dr. Daniel Corr, AWC President, announced Thursday his intent to retire after 34 years in community college education—his retirement will be effective in July—and he is credited with promoting first-generation students and developing a nationally recognized technical education model—accomplishments that have boosted external funding and partnerships. - ➤ Agriculture specialists from U.S. Customs and Border Protection intercepted a pest at Port of San Luis that had not been seen before in the country - the insect osbornellus salsus feeds on plants and can spread diseases, so the shipment was returned to Mexico. KYMA
