  • Yesterday, a local entrepreneur launched Porter Hill Academy of Arts and Science with a virtual ribbon cutting in Yuma — the fully online program offers math, science, and history for all grade levels while letting students set flexible schedules.  KYMA

  • Americares, Mission of Mercy and the Arizona Department of Health Services teamed up to offer clinics free heat safety resources with the new Climate Resilience for Frontline Clinics Toolkit available in English and Spanish. Clinics used the toolkit this summer to set up cooling stations and hydration supplies—health officials warn that early heat waves in February and April call for ongoing preparedness.  KYMA
