  • A family-owned Del Sol Market opened in Yuma Foothills on Foothills Boulevard and 38th Street after receiving a blessing last Thursday morning—continuing a 40-year tradition in the community. Lucy Rodriguez said the new store welcomes everyone and reflects strong local values.  KYMA

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Today, a low pressure area brings cooler-than-normal temperatures and high humidity, leading to scattered showers and thunderstorms later in the day—light rain may fall with highs in the upper 80s to low 90s.  KYMA

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Yuma’s Public Works Department will begin its Fall Pavement Preservation Program on October 1, focusing on upgrades in subdivisions and key streets. Road crews will work weekdays from 7 AM to 5 PM through November—drivers should allow extra time for their commute.  KYMA
