- ➤ Yuma Rotary Club will host the 67th annual Walt Kammann's Sausage Fry at Yuma Civic Center — 1440 W. Desert Hills Dr on December 5 from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Funds from the event will support local scholarships and tickets cost $18. KYMA

- ➤ Del Sol will open a new store at 11737 S. Foothills Boulevard on September 26 at 7 a.m.—the chain is known for providing fresh groceries and authentic Mexican food to local families after more than 40 years in business. KYMA
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ A study showed that Arizona Western College added $319.2 million to local income and supported one in every 23 jobs in the area. The report found that every $1 invested in the college returned $1.10 to taxpayers — proving the school is a strong regional economic engine. Arizona Western College
