Good morning, Yuma.

The City of Yuma announced that Tacos and Tunes returns in October downtown with a car show on Main Street from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on October 3 and an evening celebration on October 4 featuring live music, food and a vote for the top taco vendor—promising an exciting weekend for locals.

Charlie Kirk visited Yuma ahead of the 2024 presidential election and was hosted by Yuma County Supervisor Jonathan Lines, who showed him key border areas facing human trafficking and took him to local farms at Yuma Fresh Vegetables.

Lines expressed concern about rising free speech tensions and stressed that locals work to keep dialogue open—an approach that highlighted ongoing community efforts to address border challenges.
