- ➤ Police and SWAT officers surrounded a Yuma home (near Gila Ridge High School on E 24th Lane) Wednesday afternoon after reports said a person had barricaded themselves inside while police pointed their weapons at the residence. KYMA
- ➤ The trial date for 21-year-old Aden Arviso, charged with two counts of second-degree murder in a May 2023 house party shooting, has been moved from September to next September and he will return to court in November after rejecting a plea deal in April. KYMA

- ➤ Beef prices have reached record highs with steaks selling for $12, $21, and $53 as a nationwide cattle shortage drives the U.S. herd to its smallest number since 1951.
