- ➤ Voters in San Luis will decide in November whether to sell the city-owned detention center that houses federal immigrant detainees. City officials say that the facility—valued at $15 million though the city owes $24 million—is losing money and will go to public bidding if approved. AZ Family
- ➤ The City of Yuma said a weekend sample from the Agua Viva Water Plant had a chlorine dioxide level above allowed limits & the plant stopped using the chemical immediately; follow-up tests confirmed that the water remains safe to drink & officials continue to monitor the situation. KYMA
