  • Governor Hobbs visited Sunset Health Clinic in Yuma Friday afternoon to discuss the need for Medicaid funding and heard from doctors and AHCCCS recipients. She urged residents to contact their congress — her budget calls for more border security, childcare, and public safety support.  KYMA
  • Justice Maria Elena Cruz (the first Afro-Latina on the state’s highest court) took her seat on the Arizona Supreme Court yesterday at the Pivot Point Conference Center in Yuma. Appointed by Governor Katie Hobbs after unanimous approval, Cruz said she will keep living in Yuma to honor her roots.  KYMA
