  • 45-year-old Alfredo Enriquez Flores pleaded guilty to manslaughter and leaving the scene of an accident that killed 21-year-old Esteyan Madel on New Year's Day—he will learn his sentence next month and faces up to 21 years.  KYMA
  • Yuma’s racing suspect Hugo Pinon pled guilty to manslaughter in a domestic violence case after a racing crash ejected 18-year-old Ashley Lopez, who later died after being taken to Onvida Health — he was sentenced Thursday to 60 months of supervised probation.  KYMA

  • Yuma's Arizona Western Entrepreneurial College offers a new 12 week certification program for aspiring EKG Technicians to prepare for the National Healthcareer Association exam. Classes start June 2 at the AWC Reskilling and Technology Center & labs run on selected Saturdays at the Yuma campus.  Arizona Western College
