- ➤ 35-year-old Lorenzo Melano Casillas was formally charged on Tuesday in court on three counts—attempted first degree murder, aggravated assault, and involvement in a shooting that left a local hospitalized, with his $1 million bond and another court date set for this week. KYMA
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Local students from Yuma County received scholarships from agriculture groups, with the 4-H program awarding nine scholarships and the Seed Trade Association of Arizona awarding 11 for college or trade school. James Romney, who received two awards, said the programs had a lasting influence on him — he credited 4-H with shaping who he is today. KYMA
