- ➤ Local firefighters battled a fire on 20th Avenue — near 10th Street by Kiwanis Park — that burned a house and a trailer. KYMA
- ➤ A local family of five lost their home when a double-wide trailer caught fire at around 3:00 a.m. on Sunday on South Engler Avenue — East 15th Street, and fire crews quickly contained the blaze with no injuries while the Red Cross helps the family and their three dogs as officials investigate the cause. - ➤ Two lottery players in Yuma and Prescott Valley won big prizes — one won $50,000 on May 10 at a Circle K and the other won $100,000 when a ticket was sold at an Elks Lodge near Stoneridge Drive and Highway 69.
