- ➤ Firefighters are training along the Colorado River to prepare for summer water rescue emergencies. More than 120 Yuma Fire Department members spend six days practicing CPR, river rescues, and floating rope drills + using GPS-linked mile markers from the Gila River to Cocopah RV Resort. KYMA

- ➤ The Driving the Vote for Equality tour stopped at the Yuma Main Library today to honor suffragists Alice Burke and Nell Richardson, who drove a Saxon motorcar across the country in 1916 for voting rights (their journey inspires today’s advocacy).
