- ➤ 14-year-old Darianna Castillo will graduate college after earning a two-year associate's degree from Arizona Western College—she is also set to finish eighth grade at southwest junior high. She earned 64 credits through the Gadsden School District’s early college program and plans to enroll in university when she begins high school. KYMA
- ➤ K-12 students will join a four-day summer basketball camp from June 2 to June 5 at the AWC Yuma Campus where they learn footwork, ball handling, shooting, defense, and rebounding from the Matadors coaching staff—registration is open now with a discount if pre-registered by May 29.
