- ➤ Somerton residents shared views on park accessibility at a community forum held under the ADA transition plan (addressing park and program barriers) with input from Parks and Recreation Director James Jones. - ➤ Local homeowner Gayle Handcock, a 50-year resident, says escaped pet rabbits have multiplied to over 100 and caused wiring damage and wall cracks on her property. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Yuma is replacing the worn splash pad at Friendship Park; construction will take two months and the new pad is expected to be operational by mid-July while the area remains closed during work. KYMA
