- ➤ Small businesses in Yuma are feeling the impact of new tariffs as prices rise, shipments slow, and uncertainty grows—owners like Eddie Ramirez say that normal supply has halted while tech repair shops prepare for fewer customers. - ➤ The YumaCats will award over $40,000 in scholarships to at least 20 local students on April 29 at 6 p.m. at Gowan Company in downtown Yuma—UA Athletics representatives and local alumni will join the event to honor student achievements—inviting families to attend the free ceremony. KYMA
- ➤ On April 16th, more than 100 Arizona Western College students won over $9,000 in scholarships at the Student Showcase and Open Mic events in Yuma and San Luis.
