Local teen Grace Lyons used her quick thinking on the Colorado River this Sunday when she and her uncle rescued a couple in distress after a damaged inner tube left them stranded in weeds & officials praised her decisive action as everyone returned safely to shore.

Alma Ornelas, owner of Best Taquito, was named Arizona Small Business Person of the Year for her service and commitment to local culture — she will head to Washington D.C. to be honored by the U.S. Small Business Administration after growing her business from a food truck to two restaurant locations.
