A 19 year old suspect, Ricardo Miguel Carrasco, accepted a plea deal Tuesday for his role in an armed robbery involving a married couple at gunpoint last March—he faced six charges including aggravated robbery and kidnapping and will be formally sentenced on May 13.

Yuma man Philip Kevin Clark—61-year-old water company owner—pleaded guilty Tuesday to taking nearly $400,000 from his employees' paychecks for unpaid taxes between 2017 and 2021—and will be sentenced—in July—.

Evelution Energy plans to build the nation’s first solar-powered cobalt processing facility after it was approved two years ago by Yuma County in Tacna, 40 miles east of Yuma—construction will begin at the end of the year.
