  • Yuma Police warned a group of masked teenagers who kicked house and garage doors, causing hundreds of dollars in damage and facing serious charges if caught (authorities also urged parents to speak with their children).  KYMA

  • A statewide campaign to boost early reading has spotlighted O.C. Johnson Elementary School in Yuma because its focus on research-based teaching and family help led preschoolers to surpass state literacy averages—Read On Arizona said the campaign will use these results to guide future improvements.
