  • Arizona Western College President Dr. Corr earned the 2026 National Pacesetter Award on March 19 at the NCMPR conference in Washington (DC) for his decade of leadership supporting first-generation students and record enrollment growth; he will retire in June after ten transformative years.  Arizona Western College

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Yuma County officials asked the state to end AG Tech LLC's biosolids lease, linking its operations to persistent fly infestations, crop losses, and odors that affect local agriculture and businesses. They sent letters to state leadership and environmental agencies (county efforts continue).  KYMA

HEALTH NEWS

  • Exceptional Community Hospital is partnering with Vitalant to host a blood drive on Wednesday, April 8 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. The hospital says donating blood only takes 10 minutes and saves lives by benefiting several patients.  KYMA
