- ➤ A former MCAS Yuma operations officer (Robert B. Skankey) and DPS paramedic trooper (Hunter Bennett) died today in a law enforcement helicopter crash in Flagstaff; Governor Hobbs ordered flags lowered to half-staff from sunrise today until sunset tomorrow to honor their service. KYMA

- ➤ Yuma County has replaced the contractor to complete the stormwater-retention basin at Ray Smucker Park, where half of the park has stayed closed since July 2023. County officials say the project will resume soon — local families look forward to enjoying the park once it reopens. KYMA
