- ➤ OneAZ Credit Union opened its main branch with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by local leaders + employees to boost financial services in Yuma. The credit union also donated $7,500 to Crossroads Mission to support families in need. KYMA
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ ASU President Dr. Michael Crow visited local farms and praised Yuma’s advanced water management and tech systems, comparing them to those in Israel and the Netherlands. The Board of Regents approved a $3 million grant to launch an Arizona hub for agriculture innovation + community collaboration in Yuma. KYMA
- ➤ Arizona Western College’s Small Business Development Center received a $150,000 grant to offer 20 free bilingual workshops aimed at boosting small business formation and entrepreneurship among local adults and youth; the grant, awarded by Avenir Financial and the Federal Home Loan Bank, will support community growth.
