  • Local organizations and residents in Yuma are addressing an increase in lost pets after fireworks on New Year's celebrations; the Humane Society has taken in many animals and posted a list online—more updates with interviews are expected later today.  KYMA

CULTURE NEWS

  • No Exceptions 2026 will take place at Desert Sun Stadium on Feb. 14. The event features The Frontmen headlining with supporting acts Downtime + the Gwynn Sisters and tickets start at $35 per person.  KYMA

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Starting January 20 and January 22, the Freedom Library will offer Economics and U.S. Constitution classes from 6-8 p.m., giving participants ages 14 and up a chance to earn a scholarship at 2035 S. Arizona Ave.  KYMA

HEALTH NEWS

  • Flu season is in full swing after the holidays, and doctors advise residents to stay home if they show symptoms and wash their hands often. Local hospitals are ready to test patients when signs worsen as the season continues through May.  KYMA
