Kintsugi Heart: A Healing Workshop

About this event

Create a meaningful ceramic heart through a symbolic process of painting, breaking, and rebuilding. No artistic experience is needed.

Sometimes life breaks us... and we don't know how to put ourselves back together. This experience is inspired by the Japanese art and philosophy of Kintsugi , a practice that teaches us to embrace what has been broken rather than hide it. Kintsugi reminds us that our scars are not something to be ashamed of—they become part of our story, reflecting resilience, healing, and growth.

Using this philosophy as inspiration, you'll create your own heart-shaped ceramic piece through a symbolic process of painting, breaking, and rebuilding. This is more than an art class—it's an opportunity to pause, reflect, create, and begin again.

In this guided workshop, you will:

• Create a heart-shaped ceramic piece through a symbolic process of painting, breaking, and rebuilding.

• Learn about the Japanese philosophy and symbolism behind Kintsugi.

• Reflect on themes of healing, resilience, and personal growth through a calming creative experience.

• Adorn your piece with gold details and florals, transforming it into something deeply personal and meaningful.

You'll leave with more than a finished piece—you'll leave with a reminder that healing doesn't erase our story; it becomes part of it.
